The room provided an exceptionally peaceful environment for rest which was appreciated on our long journey. The staff were genuinely welcoming making us feel right at home.
The pool area looked inviting but we couldn't take advantage of it during our stay.

Dining was awesome! We hit up Bob Evans just down the road for some epic comfort food, and it did not disappoint! The staff at Hampton Inn was super chill and the breakfast spread was on point too. My kids loved the pool area—it had an awesome vibe!
Not really much to complain about! Just felt like the rooms could use a bit more space since we were all spread out, and having a fur buddy with us sparked some unexpected dog drama.

More comfortable chairs in the rooms would be nice.

The room was comfortable, and cleanliness was top-notch. Breakfast offered a great variety, and I especially enjoyed the dairy options like yogurt and cheese. The only downside was the confusing intersection nearby, which was a mild inconvenience when navigating to and from the hotel. Additionally, while the coffee available 24/7 was a plus, the immediate neighborhood didn’t have much to offer in terms of dining options aside from a run-down CVS.

I stayed at the Hampton Inn in Wheeling for two nights in a Queen Room with Two Queen Beds Non-Smoking. The room was clean and comfortable. I loved the friendly staff. they always greeted me with a smile. The breakfast options were really good, and everything was kept clean and stocked. I especially appreciated the nice pool area, which had a cool rain shower feature at the entrance. There were also two hot tubs, one indoor and one outdoor, which was great after a long day. However, I did experience some issues. The bed could be a bit more comfortable, and I found the room somewhat outdated. It lacked enough charging spots for my devices, which was a bit inconvenient. The parking lot layout was also confusing. Despite these minor inconveniences, I would definitely consider staying here again due to the excellent customer service and amenities.
